Ken and Brady Mendoza are a husband/wife wedding photography team who share a passion for photographic art. We combine many different techniques, cameras and lenses, and perspectives that result in a wonderful variety of images of your wedding day. Our name: Duende is a Spanish word meaning a kind of passion that musicians feel when “inside” the music, or 'in the zone'. That's our mission in photography.
Upbeat & creative, we invite our clients to have fun with us and each other on their wedding day.
We love to travel, and our destination weddings have taken us from the romantic vineyards of California's wine country and the Russian River, to the beautiful Santa Cruz coast, to spectacular Yosemite Valley and the world famous Ahwahnee Hotel. We shoot together as a team, and as recent-weds ourselves, we understand your experience.

We had a wonderful experience with Ken and Brady. Of course our photos are amazing, but more importantly they were friendly, accommodating, and always very professional. Their knowledge of Yosemite and the natural lighting they use make for fantastic photographs, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice to use them. Having two photographers from the very beginning to the very end – which ended up being about a twelve-hour day for them, I believe – captured every moment of our wedding, and that is so amazing to have.

We went through a lot of potential photographers, and they are far and away the best value for the high quality of pictures you get, as well as their very friendly (but professional!) personalities. The fact that they took us on a Yosemite Valley photo tour (on a separate day than the wedding, no less) gave us amazing images that we’re going to treasure forever. Not to mention that, to my knowledge, they are the only photographers who offer this. I would highly recommend Yosemite Wedding Photographers to anyone who is having a wedding in the Northern California area.

Ken and Brady did an amazing job photographing our Yosemite wedding. They are professional, well prepared, artistic, friendly, and knowledgeable and passionate about Yosemite. With never being to Yosemite before our wedding, Ken and Brady were able to give us ideas and advice about everything from planning out our wedding day and ceremony, to advice on where to eat, and what activities were available for us and our guests. They have a great understanding of the park, the natural lighting, and what nooks, crannies, and places would be most efficient use of time to produce the most awe inspired pictures possible. They worked very well together, along with us and all of our guests to capture all the energy and emotions of the day along with the amazing backdrops. We absolutely love our wedding pictures! Brady and Ken were everything we could have hoped for in wedding photographers! On our wedding day, we were able to structure a full day with them that let us get some great shots all over Yosemite. Brady and Ken were also a pleasure to spend our special day with. They were easy to get along with, easy to talk to and willing to give and take suggestions. They really took the time to put help put together a personal and absolutely stunning set of photographs from our wedding. Finally, they even suggested a guide for us in Costa Rica, who helped make our honeymoon great. We couldn't recommend Brady and Ken more highly!! Thank you Brady and Ken!!!
